Decisions
Context leaders make many choices, when defining a strategy to shape execution. When the choices are difficult, they structure the deliberative analysis and communication as decisions. Not all choices must be structured and communicated as decisions. To "decide how to decide", ask whether a choice to be made requires communication to (1) arrive at the choice, (2) secure the commitment, and/or (3) support improving the effectiveness of organizational decision making (e.g. having a record of the decision for a future retrospective).
Example Syntax:
“Need to decide which…”,
“Need to decide where to…”
“Need to choose a… “
“Decide <what/how/where/who/whether/etc><thing that is undecided>.”
