Peer Contexts

Peer Contexts

Contexts are units of organizational design built around decision authority. Contexts are the nodes that form a network of value creation and delivery for the enterprise. Contexts can have two kinds of relationships with other contexts: a parent-child relationship, where the parent creates and sponsors the child, and a peer-to-peer relationship, where one peer delivers value to the other (as their customer). Peer contexts establish their relationship with a strong emphasis on value delivery, customer-centricity, and continuous improvement.

Example Syntax:
<Context A> serves <Context B> in a peer relationship by delivering value to <Context B> in <step #> of the <Context B workflow>."
